Celebrating 143rd Founders' Day of CBS

Calcutta Boy's School (CBS) celebrated its 143rd Founders' Day with grace and grandeur. A beautiful thanksgiving worship service was organised by the committee, with Bishop Dr P S Masih, the Chairman of the School and Raja McGee, Principal and Secretary.

The programme began with the opening hymn by the student's choir, CBS main school, followed by founders' day prayer, lord's prayer, litany of thanksgiving, floral tributes. The evening also witnessed beautiful songs like 'Father lead me day by day'; 'Thank you Lord'; 'To be thankful for'; 'Let there be love shared among us'; 'We gather together'; 'To God be the glory' and also the school song, 'Hail Alma Mater'.

The programme was attended by many former students and all faculty members of all the campuses of Calcutta Boy's School – Beliaghata Campus, Sonarpur Campus, Asansol Campus and the main campus. Announced was made for another new campus, coming at Shantiniketan.

Calcutta Boy's School together with its branch campuses is distinctively a Christian minority, Anglo-Indian institution and every influence is exerted in the formation of a character and nurturing of useful and faithful citizens of India.
