Father arrested for molesting daughter

A 31-year-old man has been booked for sexually abusing his five-year-old daughter on Wednesday in west Delhi’s Patel Nagar. The girl in her statement said her father, Rakesh, was sexually abusing her for the past one month. The accused has been arrested.
The incident took place at their residence when the accused’s wife was away. According to the police, the father has also threatened his daughter with dire consequences if she told anyone about it.
‘But the girl told her mother and the mother approached the police with her family members,’ added the officer.
According to the officials, Rakesh also had an illicit affair with his sister-in-law.
