Faridabad power station organises awareness week

Faridabad Gas Power Station will be celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week. The oath taking ceremony was solemnised by the general manager of the station, N N Mishra, on Monday.  He urged the employees to work without any fear and perform their duties honestly.  During the week, various competitons and workshops will be organised for the employees, family members and other school children. As part of the activities, a debate on ‘Is Janlokpal an effective tool to tackle corruption’ was held. Seven teams from Modern Vidya Niketan, Modern DPS, Ryan International School, Agrawal Public School, DAV School Sector-14, St John’s Public School and St Thomas Sr Sec School participated in the debate. The team from DAV School, Sector-14, was adjudged as winners. The first runners up team was from Modern DPS School and the second runners up team was from St John’s Public School. The closing ceremony will be held on 3 November at the station.
