Farah Khan to headline London film festival

Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan will headline an annual Indian film festival in the UK next month.

The director of the 2007 box-office hit Om Shanti Om will kick off a series of masterclasses with a special screening of the film as part of the annual Tongues on Fire London Asian Film Festival 2015.

The festival themed around The Power of Women aims to showcase women behind the scenes.

“We’re honoured to have Farah Khan as our chief guest this year at the 17th edition of our festival. She’s a true role model for female filmmakers, in this macho centric world of cinema. She’s had phenomenal success in directing blockbuster movies that entertain the masses with quality story-telling,” said festival director Pushpinder Chowdhry.
