Extra credits for participating in NCC and NSS for FYUP

Delhi University students, who are part of the foundations courses run under the varsity’s Four Year Undergraduate Programme, are likely to get extra credits if they participate in the activities organised by National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Corps (NCC).
According to the notification issued by <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">Alka Sharma, registrar, Delhi University, ‘Students of Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) who will engage themselves in the parade training conducted by <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">NCC unit or participate in the state-level and national-level camps (all stages) organised by NCC might enjoy the benefits of eight marks in each foundation course in relevant semesters.’
The extra credits will go to students who participate in <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">NSS activities at the college level and take part in any outreach programme organised by NSS or in cultural activities at the college level. Each college shall set up a committee consisting of at least five teachers to formulate guidelines and monitor the performance in consultation with teachers in-charge of NCC and NSS.
