Executive booked for rape in Ggn

An executive of a multi-national company was booked for allegedly raping a woman, the police said on Saturday. Savit Garg, aged around 35, was booked for raping a 32-year-old Delhi-based hotel manager on pretext of marriage. The victim said that she met Garg during a party in 2013. “After befriending me, he proposed marriage and forcefully made physical relations...In February, he asked me to start shopping for marriage and stopped responding to my calls. However, recently, he told me over phone that he was already married,” she said.An FIR under relevant IPC sections has been lodged.
