'Progressive thinking have motivated women to break barriers'
According to Taapsee, it's time to celebrate the Indian household women – who rule our homes
Mumbai: Taapsee Pannu, an Indian actor known for her work in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films, believes that it is imperative to celebrate progressive thinking amongst women as it has kept them motivated to break barriers.
Talking about the role of Indian women in bringing positive changes in a family, Taapsee who has done quiet a few unconventional films said: "Indian homemakers have been strong torch bearers for bringing about progressive changes in their family lives and the society at large."
Further she added: "I strongly believe that it is imperative to celebrate this progressive thinking amongst women, that has kept them motivated to break barriers and pursue careers and passions."
The actor who has been critically appericiated for her roles in films like Naam Shabana, Pink and Manmarziyan believes that her profession gives her the opportunity to lend her voice to conversations that represent the modern Indian women, and help in bring about a little change in the ideology of the common people of the country.
"It's time we celebrate the women who rule our homes", she said.
