Excited to be a part of most expensive Malayalam movie
From playing side character in highly rated TV drama 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' to being the part of most expensive Malayalam film, Prachi Tehlan has come a long way.
In her upcoming movie Mamangam, which also stars superstar Mammootty, Tehlan will be seen essaying the character of Unni Maya, a devadasi.
Talking about getting this big opportunity, Prachi said, "I'm glad to be the leading lady of Malayalam cinema's most expensive movie."
"Mamangam being the biggest Malayalam release is a proud fact for me," added the actor, who described her journey so far as a 'roller coaster ride'.
Further speaking of the reason behind signing this movie, Prachi said, "It was once in a lifetime opportunity for any actor and so, I didn't give any second thoughts before taking up the project."
The trailer, which was released some time ago, gathered an overwhelmingly positive response for her. And now Prachi is looking forward to see how the audience will react to her character and performance in the film.
Vouched to be the most expensive film made in Malayalam cinema, Mammooka starrer is slated to hit the screen in four languages – Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, on December 12. The film will release on 400 screens in Kerala alone.
