Actor Anushka Sharma's upcoming paranormal thriller Pari will hit the screens worldwide on February 9, 2018.
On Monday, she revealed the second look from the film: Battered and bruised, lying on the floor of what looks like a shanty with shabby curtains, she's here to haunt you for long. Dressed in a salwar kameez with disheveled hair, her dark and gaunt eyes look scary.
To be directed by debutant Prosit Roy, the film will be jointly produced by Anushka's Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment.
Sharing a new poster of the film, Anushka tweeted the release date on Monday. On signing the film, Anushka had said in a statement: "Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in the vision of the director as well as this collaboration with KriArj Entertainment."
Last month, she released the first look poster of the film in which she looked totally unrecognisable.
This will be Anushka's third project as a producer. NH10 and Phillauri were her previous production ventures.
"The first leg of shoot is over and we are very satisfied with what we have shot. Good and meaningful content-driven films is what we aspire to make at Clean Slate. It's not only about creating a good premise, but also about developing it properly. 'Pari' is one more step in that direction," Karnesh Sharma of Clean Slate Films said in a statement.
The film, which will also stars Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee, will be reportedly shot in Mumbai and Kolkata.
Anushka currently awaits the release of superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal.
