Ditto music marks its foray in the Indian music scenario

Ditto Music Ltd., a Liverpool based Indie Music and Distribution label company, is all set to make its presence felt in South Asia. The company will set its base in India with its headquarter in Mumbai.

Ditto Music, which is supporting over 150,000 artists and labels worldwide, with 20 offices across the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia, North and Latin America.

In a short span of 12 years, the company has grown to an enormous size with offices across all the continents and many emerging markets.

The company with its focus on subscription, distribution and acquisition, models for developing independent acts across the globe, with a head start in the UK.

Ditto Music- CEO and co-founder Lee Parsons says, "Artists are moving away from major label deals and towards independence because companies like Ditto give them more attention, better terms and more revenue."

Founded by the musicians, for the musicians, Ditto provides distribution, music video, promotional and label services, offering both 100% royalty and commission-based deals.

Having worked with major artists such as Stormzy, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith at the early stages of their careers, the music company is currently working with the next generation of rising artists.

In 2018, it released 40 albums and singles for artists such as Dodie, Dave, AJ Tracey, and many more. The India /South Asia office started in Oct 2017, Gautam Sarkar, a global veteran of 30 years across music, hospitality and technology, will be leading the India/South Asia piece, having worked with all majors in India and abroad

Sarkar has decided to stay away from major Bollywood music currently, but more focused on the regional market business and overseas distribution. The roster is tending to overflow, as people are looking up to Ditto to reach their music to the sub-continent diaspora globally for delivering high quality streaming audio and monetization of copyright royalties.
