'Acropolis Mall' celebrates 'Monsoon Food Fiesta'

Acropolis Mall, India's one of the leading premier shopping destinations, has started witnessing a gradual increase in footfall after completing one month since the mall reopened on June 8. To celebrate the arrival of rain god, the mall is celebrating one month long monsoon food fiesta at the food court with brands offering delectable dishes and special monsoon discounts to draw the crowd.

The first month, post unlocking, the footfall in the malls of Kolkata is satisfactory. Although the footfall level is almost 50% compared to the normal, but still considering the travel restrictions, cinema and bars not being open, the numbers are encouraging.

Sushil Mohta, Chairman, 'Merlin Group' said, "Malls are just not a place for buying and selling, but it is a place for people to socialize and spend some good time with their friends over a cup of coffee. It is also noteworthy that all the malls in Kolkata are following strict protocol for hygiene and safety of the visitors and the visitors are also cooperating with the mall authorities."

Actor Sayantani Guhathakurta graced the 'Monsoon Food Fiesta' at the mall and tasted the specially curated recipe christened 'Sizzler Momo' by 'WoW Momo'.

"'Acropolis Mall' is one of my favourite malls and I have been coming to the mall frequently. Post COVID-19 crisis, I am here again and I'm really convinced by the comprehensive safety measures for customers at the mall like no other. Out of all these, washing hands is the safest measure to keep the virus at bay and the mall has implemented this as well as other important measures for people's safety," said the actor.
