Ensure quick disposal of public grievances online: LG to DDA

Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Thursday directed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to go digital in all its services and ensure timely and quick disposal of public grievances through online platform.
Baijal, who held a review meeting with the officials of DDA at its headquarters, directed its IT wing to come out with a clear, implementable blueprint for all services on a digital platform within a month so that there is minimal human interface and maximum governance through the use of technology.
“Directed DDA to work on redressing public grievances online(sic),” the LG tweeted after the meeting.
The LG, who is also the DDA Chairman, reviewed the status of implementation of the Master Plan of Delhi-2021 and provision of the utilities/services keeping in view the increase in population and deficit in infrastructure. “The LG stressed on the developmental as well as regulatory role of DDA and asked the officials to strictly monitor the timely and satisfactory completion of projects by regular coordination with various stakeholders,” according to a statement issued by the LG’s office.
