Ensure no animal is used for campaigning purpose: EC to officials

The Election Commission has directed all district election officers to ensure that no animal is used for electioneering purposes by any candidate in poll-bound Rajathan.
The direction was given in the wake of complaints by various organisations about alleged cruelty on animals during the election campaign, Chief Election Officer Ashok Jain said.
