Education fair organised at IP University

Centralised Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University ( IP University) on Tuesday organised an Education Fair in the Dwarka campus. Around four dozens companies and other organisations participated. A seminar on career counselling was also organised on the occasion.
The fair was inaugurated by the registrar of the university Bhashkar P Joshi.
He said on the occasion that it is a forum to the point of career awareness and placement point of view for the students of the university. ‘We are lagging behind in comparison to other developed countries in the field,’ said Joshi.
B V R Reddy, chairman of this cell informed on the occasion that ‘the cell is doing excellent work since its inception. We are preparing a centralised data base of potential companies and placement seekers of affiliated colleges as well as university schools.’ The sole objective of the Cell is to provide right career counseling as well as placement of students of the university, said Reddy.
