Economic offence wing works at snail’s place: PIL petitioner

Ashok Khanna, the petitioner who had filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in the Delhi high court for alleged irregularities and mismanagement of funds by DAV College Management Committee, has alleged that Economic Offence Wing (EOW) is going at very slow pace investigating the alleged irregularities and in the last four months. He said since the direction of the high court, the investigating agency has merely written letters to various agencies, including the ED, Jalandhar SP, Yamuna Nagar SP and crime branch Pune. The court, in in January, had directed deputy commissioner of police, EOW, to look into the complaint of Khanna dated 23 April 2012 and act in accordance.
