The spread of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa is ‘unprecedented’, said the World Health Organization (WHO). It also said there were certain areas that cannot be reached and that the number of cases was underestimated, reports the BBC. There were 142 new cases of the disease and 77 deaths since August 19, confirmed the organisation. Over 1,427 people have died so far and the reported number of Ebola cases stands at 2,615.
