Ebola scare: Two Nigerians admitted to RML Hospital

Mandatory reporting of passengers from affected countries is in place. Since its inception on 10th August, 2014, 5235 passengers have been screened at the Airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Trivandrum and Kochi.
It is reiterated that as on date, there is no confirmed or even suspect case of Ebola Virus Disease in India.
WHO has reported a total of 1,975 cases and 1069 deaths (as on 11th Disease from affected countries. Country-wise.
The call centre at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare received 45 calls in the past 24 hours. The queries from public, related to signs and symptoms of the disease and risk of travel were addressed adequately.
