DUSU protests govt circular to colleges seeking students’ info

Members of DU students’ union on Monday protested Delhi government’s circular to colleges seeking details of all students, saying “the confidential information can be used by some associations for their vested interests”. 

“Delhi government has issued an order to 21 colleges of DU run by it, asking them to submit details of all students but has not declared the reason for the same. This demand is completely absurd and poses a danger of the confidential information being used by some associations for their vested interests,” ABVP said in a statement.
