DU’s v-c explains four-year system at students’ parliament

To clarify the lingering doubts about the recently introduced four-year graduation programme, Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) organised a students’ parliament on Wednesday. Dinesh Singh, DU vice-chancellor in his address emphasised the overall development of the students and introduced the salient features of the programme as well as opportunities such a programme offers. Arun Hooda, DUSU president, said, ‘The purpose of the meet was to seek clarification on the proposed programme as we are still unsure of it.’ Besides DUSU representatives, council members from different colleges were also present. The team, including the vice-chancellor, dean of colleges, proctor and other professors, that put together the course were present at the students’ parliament.
