DU to seek feedback from final year students for quality assessment

In order to learn about its shortcomings from the students’ perspective,  Delhi University has decided to conduct a quality assessment survey among the final year post graduate students asking them to rate the quality of education at varsity on various parameters.

The survey which will be conducted by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of DU is aimed at assessing the university’s services for its students and the areas that need to be improved to enhance quality of student experience.

“The university has been considering a feedback system for the professors, however, there has been some opposition to that. So, we have finally decided to have an evaluation system for each and every component of the university that contributes to student experience,” a senior DU official said. “The team from NAAC which visits for evaluation also asks for student feedback data. However, they do not seek the feedback from students on their own but expect the concerned university or college to provide the same. So, this data will come handy then,” he added.
