DU student held for auto lifting

A Delhi university student has been arrested for his involvement operating an auto-lifting gang in the national capital region. The police have also arrested two juveniles and recovered over half a dozen vehicles.
According to the police the gang was arrested from Shalimar Garden, a colony situated on border of Delhi and Ghaziabad, while planning for auto theft on Monday night. The kingpin of the gang Yash dutt Sharma is a student of B A first year in Delhi University and resides in Shahdara.
The police have also arrested two minors in the case- who are Class XII standard students. Mohit Nagar (17) is a resident of Badalpur area in Greater Noida and Jintender (17) is a resident of Sahibabad area in Ghaziabad. The police have recovered seven bikes, one scooter and one car from their possession.
The court sent the minors in the juvenile court while main accused was sent to Dasana Jail in Ghaziabad.
