DU professor’s email hacked

The email of a woman assistant professor of Delhi University was hacked and defamatory mails using her photographs were sent to senior professors of her college, police said on Thursday. The professor, who teaches on ad-hoc basis in the English department of Ram Lal Anand College under the university, approached police after she came to know that her email had been hacked. The case was later handed over to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) where it was registered Tuesday under sections 66 and 66C of the IT Act.
