DTUTA members meet CM

Office bearers of the recently constituted DTUTA [Delhi Technological University Teachers Association] met Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at her residence on Friday. Delegation of DTUTA apprised Dikshit about the impressive progress DTU has made in the last three years under the able leadership of P B Sharma, Vice Chancellor, of the university, and record breaking placements at DTU for 2012-13 batch of students. They informed the chief minister about six students of DTU bagging Rs 60 lakh [PA] pay package from EPIC [a US-based company]. They also informed the chief minister that the Autonomous Unmanned Aircraft, designed and developed by DTU students, is ready for its public demonstration and flight in the third week of next month. Dikshit congratulated the DTUTA office bearers for the impressive placements.
