DTU, INMAS sign MoU

Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS) signed a MoU for enhanced academic interaction and R&D collaboration at Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Monday. This collaboration will include applied research and projects.

INMAS, one of DRDO’s branches, is one of the oldest national institutes of nuclear medicine with core competence in radiation biosciences. The MoU was exchanged between P B Sharma, vice chancellor, DTU and Rajendra Prashad Tripathi, director INMAS.

PB Sharma, VC of DTU said, ‘This is a momentous occasion for DTU. In signing this MoU with one of most innovative companies, we are unleashing a new era of Industry-Academia partnership. This MoU will reduce the gap between lab level research and the research required by the industry in developing new technologies.’

Rajendra Prashad Tripathi, director INMAS, elaborated that the fruits of this joint collaboration should help Indian Armed Forces in particular.
