DTU gives exit option to students pursuing Dual Degree programme

Students pursuing the 5-year Dual Degree B.Tech-MBA Integrated Programme in Delhi Technological University (DTU) have been given the option to exit the course and leave it with a B.Tech degree, after four years.  Students, who wish to quit the programme, without pursuing the MBA degree, will have to notify college authorities by their third year. The decision was made in a meeting chaired by PB Sharma, vice chancellor, DTU, and was attended by all senior authorities in the varsity.

Ruchika Malhotra, media coordinator of DTU says, ‘To present options in academics, the Academic Council (AC) of DTU has decided to initiate the exit option in the third year of the 5 year Dual Degree B.Tech- MBA Integrated Programme from the coming session’.  ‘The AC met to decide upon the policies regarding the 2014-15 session. From the next academic session there will be a new M.Tech program in Robotics and Machine Design, which will fall under the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. The admission policy for next year will be the same’, she added.
