DTL celebrates International Women’s Day

Delhi Transco Ltd (DTL) commemorated International Women’s Day on Tuesday. On this occasion a sports meet was organised for women employees of the company. JPS Chawla, Director (HR and Finance) inaugurated the sports meet. The meet was organised at Pragati PowerStation Ground, Ring Road (Near Pragati Maidan). The sports activities organised on this occasion include T-20 Cricket Match, Tug of War, Spoon Race, Three Leg Race, Balloon Race, Walking Race etc.

While inaugurating the event Chawla said that women are excelling in every sphere of life wherever they are getting opportunities. Now they are prominently visible in many areas such as military, para military forces etc which were male dominated a few years back. He said upon the need of sports in day-to-day lives and said the sports activities at work not only improve their physical and mental health but also improve their output at work.
