Drunken driving claims 2 lives, 2 others critical

Two persons were killed while two others critically injured in a road accident near IME College at Sahibabad here on Tuesday night.
Police said that the victims’ car was speeding when it hit a stationary truck.
All four victims were taken to a hospital in the Capital where two succumbed to their injuries on Wednesday. The cops found liquor bottles in the car and suspect that the driver was in drunken state.
One of the deceased was identified as Aditya Chaudhary, a resident of Bulandshahar district.
The other deceased was a woman, and her identity is yet to be ascertained.
Aditya’s colleagues Anurag and Jyoti, who were referred to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of GTB hospital, are stated to be critical condition.
The police has registered a case of drunken driving and the incident is under investigation.
