Drug peddler held

A 37-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly smuggling smack from Haryana and selling it in the national capital, police said on Friday. Mohammed Hussain, a resident of Nabi Karim in the walled city area, was arrested and police recovered 162 grams of smack from his possession and a car used for transportation of the drugs has been seized, a senior police official said. Hussain was arrested yesterday on specific input from Ajmeri gate area during a vechile checking drive, said DCP central district, Devesh Chandra Srivastva. During interrogation, Hussain, police claimed, confessed to having brought the drugs from Haryana and Sadar Bazar.
