Drug-addled teen stabs friend

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death by his friend over drugs in West Delhi’s Ranhola area on Saturday. According to the police, Manjeet was out with his friend, inhaling drugs when a fight broke and the teenager stabbed Manjeet. After killing Manjeet, the teenager dumped his body in a drain. Police recovered Manjeet’s body from a drain in Ranhola on Sunday. Senior police officers alleged that they have identified the accused and search operations are on to nab him.

According to the police, on Saturday, on the pretext of celebrating a friend’s birthday, the teenager took Manjeet out for a party. Prima facie investigation suggests that the two were inhaling drugs at a secluded spot when a heated argument started over who will inhale more drugs. The argument turned violent and in a moment of rage, the accused teenager stabbed Manjeet.
