DRDO signs MOU with York University

Dr VK Saraswat, SA to RM and Dr Robert Hache, Vice President Research & Innovation, York University, Canada signed an MOU between DRDO and York University, Canada. The MOU was signed in the presence of Prime Ministers of India and Canada at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
The signing of MOU marks an important milestone between the countries. York University is one of the research centres of Defence R&D Canada of the Canadian Department of National Defence. University specialises in developing technologies for chembio defence, counter terrorism, soldier as a system and likewise other defence applications.
MOU will facilitate DRDO and the York University to pursue collaborative defence research. Both sides have planned a number of joint projects in the time to come.
