Bharatiya Janata Party leader Harsh Vardhan said on Friday said that his party does not have the numbers to form the government. ‘We will not form the government,’ he said after Arvind Kejriwal quit as Delhi’s chief minister over the Jan Lokpal Bill on Friday.
‘The people of Delhi feel they have been betrayed. He has miserably failed to deliver. He has never delivered anything except for making false speeches,’ Vardhan said while attacking Kejriwal. ‘Kejriwal should stop telling lies and making baseless allegations,’ he said.
The BJP is not against the Jan Lokpal Bill and in fact ‘support it 100 times more than the AAP government’.
Reacting to Delhi chief minister Kejriwal’s remarks about the Congress and the BJP acting in connivance as the Delhi government ordered filing of an FIR against Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani, Harsh Vardhan said Kejriwal has ‘consistently lied’ trying to mislead the people.
