Israeli TV has gone to the dogs, literally! An Israeli cable TV company has set out to solve the problem of bored pooches by launching the first ever television channel in the country primarily aimed at dogs.
Initially launched in the US last year, Dog TV is now available in Israel and aims to comfort canines left at home alone with a combination of soothing music and special colours which dogs can see. Available in Israel on Channel 39, Dog TV was launched a year ago in San Diego and is already available all over California, The Independent reported. The programmes on the channel run up to six minutes in length and are designed to keep dogs happy.
