The Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) flyway drive will get dearer as the Noida Toll Bridge Corporation Limited (NTBCL) decided to hike the toll rates for the 11-kilometer long carriageway from Friday.
Unlike earlier times, when it blamed inflation for the rate hike, this time it has described the the increase as an ‘annual moderate hike’.
The toll rates for four wheelers have been increased from Rs 25 to Rs 28. There is no change in case of two-wheelers.
In case of heavier vehicles it has been increased between Rs 15 to Rs 20. The toll operator on Friday announced that the rate for commercial vehicles would be increased from Rs 55 to Rs 70 and medium vehicles (buses and truck) from Rs 70 to Rs 85.
For heavy vehicles, it has been hiked from Rs 100 to Rs 120 and for extra large vehicles it has been revised upward from Rs 135 to Rs 155.
