DND accident: Three critically injured

Three persons were critically injured when the car they were travelling in overturned at the DND flyway on Monday night. The injured persons were rushed to a private hospital where one of them is said to be critical. They have been identified as Govind (40), Rahul Soni (29) and Vinay (23), residents of Sector 19. They work as staff members in a garment export company in Sector 49.
Police said that the incident occurred when occupants of the Ford EcoSport car were moving from Noida to Delhi on a jolly ride. After crossing a few metres distance from the toll plaza, the car driver lost control over the vehicle.
“The over speeding car turned turtle and flipped to the other side of the road on the DND flyway. The staff at the toll plaza took them to the hospital,” said a police official.
The victims were rushed to Kailash hospital in Sector 27. VB Joshi, spokesperson of the hospital, said that Govind received severe head injuries and is critical.
“The two other patients have been offered medical treatment and they are out of danger now,” Joshi said. The doctors said according to the medical reports the three occupants had consumed alcohol.
