DJB to waive late payment

Delhi Jal Board on Friday announced a scheme waiving late payment fee on arrears for water charges for domestic consumers.
As per the scheme, the waiver on late payment fee will be granted if a consumer makes full and final payment of their outstanding bills.
The consumers will have the option to clear their dues in two instalments.
The scheme will take effect from Monday.
A DJB official said all zonal officers have been told to redress all bill related grievances on all working days from 3-5 pm.
On every Saturday, the zonal officials will organise field camps to address bill related problems.
