DJB to regularise Karamchari Sampark Sabha

Owing to the popularity of Karamchari Sampark Sabha since its inception in December 2014, the Delhi Jal Board has decided to further encourage the employees by regularly organising the sabha every three months.

Delhi Jal Board will be reviving the ‘Karamchari Sampark Sabha’ in which their employees will be participating in order to redress internal grievances and also interact with senior officers . The Sabha is attended by all senior officers of the Delhi Jal Board.

Presently, the Board is a vast organisation with employee strength of more than 21,000 across its offices in Delhi.

“Karamchari Sampark Sabhas have been instrumental in motivating the workforce. Keeping this in view, the Board has decided to constitute a committee which will examine the issue of introduction of a new performance related incentive scheme for the employees,” said Board officials.

The first Karamchari Sampark Sabha was held in December 21,  2014, during which 104 issues related to employees were discussed and were resolved satisfactorily. The second Karamchari Sampark Sabha was organised on March 15,  2015, which was attended by approximately 400 employees. During the second Karamchari Sampark Sabha, 176 issues related to employees were discussed and the concerned officials were directed to take necessary action pertaining to the same.

“The Karamchari Sampark Sabhas have proved to be a popular way to redress internal issues among the employees of the Delhi Jal Board, and in order to further encourage their active participation, the Board has decided to regularly organise the Sabha every three months,” said an officer.
