DJB announces water shortage in W Delhi on 15 Jan

Delhi Jal Board issued a notice that those living in the west Delhi will face water shortages on 15 January. Shortages will arise due to major repair work in key areas of west Delhi, especially at District Centre Janakpuri.
Authorities have said that these shortages will go on till the evening. Water supply shall be affected on the evening of 15 January. Areas such as Tilak Nagar, Mahavir Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, J.J.Colony Khyala, Ravi Nagar, Chand Nagar and Mukharji Park will be affected.
Further, due to the annual maintenance program for flushing underground reservoirs/ booster pumping station, water supply will be available at low pressure on 15 January in the following areas: CSP flats in East of Kailash and Dushagra Area.
Delhi Jal Board further informed that additionally, due to the annual programme of cleaning up underground reservoirs/booster pumping station, water supply will be available at low pressure on 16 January in the following areas: Okhla Phase-I,II & III, Kalkaji, Kalkaji Extn., Govindpuri, Gari, Amar Colony, EPDP, East of Kailash, part of Greater Kailash, Batla House, Escorts Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, Jamia, Maharani Bagh, SFS flats East of Kailash and DDA Flats in Pandav Nagar.
