Digvijaya seeks fresh date to appear before police

Former MP Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh approached the state police through his counsel, asking for a fresh date for appearing before them as he was away in the US for <g data-gr-id="6">treatment</g> of his daughter. Singh was served a notice at his official residence in Bhopal on Sunday for appearing before the police on September 30 in connection with a probe for alleged irregularities in appointments at the Madhya Pradesh State Assembly secretariat between 1993 and 2003.
