Dengue shows downward trend in capital

After claiming six lives, Dengue has shown a declining trend in Delhi due to the approaching winter as only 133 cases have been reported in the past three days. The disease this year was, however, reported lesser number of cases in terms of number of patients in comparison to 2010 but very close in terms of casualty.

As per the report released by nodal agency for dengue in the city, Delhi registered 133 patients in three days — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The maximum number of dengue patients from a single zone was 30 from Shahdara North.
