Dengue cases rise to 438 in Delhi, NCR

The number of dengue cases in Delhi and its adjoining areas has increased to 438, civic officials said on Monday.
According to the figures, 409 cases have been reported from the national Capital till 1 November. The cases of Malaria reported till Monday stands at 62 .
‘The remaining 29 cases have been reported from the adjoining areas in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana,’ the officials said. Two people have also died in the Capital this year due to dengue.
According to the data of civic official, the number of dengue cases have decreased as compared to last year. The figures show that last year till October, there were 4,671 dengue cases and five deaths. The civic bodies have also issued 11,2581 notices to various agencies for mosquito breeding.
