Delhiites experience hot day

People in the national Capital experienced a hot day with the maximum temperature settling at 40 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 21.7 deg Celsius, two notches below the season’s average, said a MeT department official. At Palam, the maximum temperature was registered at 41.9 degrees Celsius. The humidity level oscillated between 54 per cent and 15 per cent. The MeT office has predicted mainly clear skies for Saturday. “The skies will be mainly clear. Dust haze is very likely to occur towards morning and evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 41 and 22 degrees,” the weatherman said.
