Youth have power to change world: Yogi at 22nd National Youth Festival

Greater Noida: "Young people have the power to change the world. They are the ones who come up with innovative ideas for the benefit of the country and society," Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said at the inauguration ceremony of 22nd National Youth Festival at Gautam Buddha University here on Friday.
Addressing thousands of youngsters present in the function, the CM said, "The future of our country is in the hands of young people. India has vast potential to grow, as a major part of our population is youth".
Referring to the Centre's Mudra scheme, Skill India and Startup India funds, Adityanath said, "In the past three years of our government, we have come up with several schemes to benefit the young generation. By 2022, we are focused to make India a clean country which will also be free from terrorism".
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed students of the University on the same occasion, via video-conferencing, and said that youngsters need not to worry as their growth is the only focus of the BJP-led state government.
"Do not worry. Move ahead, take the first step. The government is with you," the Prime Minister said.
He also assured the youth not to worry about bank guarantees, loans and heavy paper work, as they would get all the help from the government.
"We will hand-hold you. Then, you are yourself capable of moving ahead," the PM told he thousands of students.
The occasion also marked the 155th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
"We did not take part in India's Independence struggle. So we have the responsibility to realise the dreams of those who helped us attain freedom from British rule," Modi told the students.
The Prime Minister also congratulated the public for the launch of PSLV C-40 by the Indian Space Research Organisation on Friday.
"This is the proud moment for our country, as our scientists have launched their 100th satellite in space," Modi stated.
