Noida: Aiming to boost connectivity between the upcoming international airport in Jewar with Noida, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched

a bus service to connect sectors and villages of Jewar with international airport and smart city Noida.

As present, five buses —three CNG and two electric — have been put on the streets which were flagged off by Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh and YEIDA officials from the authority’s newly developed office in Sector 22D on Saturday.

Officials said that the routes of these buses will be decided keeping in mind the people living in the villages and coming to the industrial area, especially the students who come to study in Noida and Greater Noida.

“With some major key development projects including an international airport and film city coming up in Jewar and its vicinity, there is a need to for better transportation between Jewar and Noida. The bus service is a gift to the people on the completion of one year of the BJP government’s second

term,” said Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh.

The buses will ply from morning to evening. In first phase, five buses have been launched which will connect Jewar, Rabupura, Dankaur, Jahangirpur and other areas and reach Noida via Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.
