Woman's headless body found in trunk

New Delhi: Decapitated body of a woman was found inside a box in Jahangirpuri area in North west Delhi on Saturday. The police reached the spot and took the box in their custody. The body has yet to be identified.

It appeared that someone has stuffed the headless body in the tin box and left it on Jahangirpuri road. Cops believe that the body would have been dumped during the night hours.

A police team has been formed to identify the woman who appeares in her 30s . The CCTV around the area is also being scanned to get some clue.

Police are tracking the details of the missing woman of similar height and width to know about the identity.

The body has been sent for the post mortem and the cause of the death would be ascertauned only after the PM reports comes. A murder case has been registered.
