Woman falls from 4th floor in Kalkaji

New Delhi: A woman fell from the fourth floor while she was watering plants in South-East Delhi's Kalkaji area, police said on Sunday. The investigating agency suspects that it was an accidental fall.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Kumar Gyanesh stated that at the time of the incident, the victim was watering plants. Her sister was at the spot.

"Suddenly victim's legs slipped. Her sister caught her hand but the grip of the hands fell weak and the victim fell down to the iron grill," added Additional DCP.

Before falling, the people who were at the spot tried to save the woman by holding a bed sheet but instead of that victim fell somewhere else.

She was rushed to the hospital and police were alerted about the incident.

"She is receiving treatment at the hospital," police said. Kumar Gyanesh further added that they suspect this case as accidental fall.

They have also questioned family members to get other clues. The victim lives in South East Delhi area.
