Woman dies in Uttam Nagar wall collapse

New Delhi: A 70-year-old woman died while he son and nephew were injured in a wall collapse in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Parvati.

The incident took place when she was sleeping and suddenly the wall collapsed. It had been raining the entire night and the woman had kept heavy blocks on the top of the roof, it collapsed when it rained heavily.

The son of the deceased was also injured in the incident and he was identified as Manoj who tried to help her mother. A PCR call was made and the victims were rushed to the hospital where the woman was declared dead. Due to leakage, the family was not getting proper sleep and they had planned to repair the wall next month but it collapsed on Monday.
