Woman dies after falling from 15th floor balcony

Greater Noida: A 26-year-old woman died after she fell off the balcony of a flat situated at 15th floor in Gaur City-2 area of Greater Noida west. Family members said that the woman accidentally slipped from the balcony while trying to cover a machine with tarpaulin.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Harsha Wadhwa who worked as a software engineer and had been staying with her mother and brother-in-law at the Divyansh Flora society in Gaur City 2. Manoj Pathak, Station House Officer (SHO) of Bisrakh police station said that the family has not given any complaint into the matter and said that it was an accident.

"Police received information around 8:30 am and a team rushed to the spot. Upon reaching we found that a woman had jumped from 15th floor and died on the spot. Actual reason can be given once the autopsy reports are out to us." said Pathak.
