Woman delivers baby in PCR near Kapashera

NEW DELHI: A woman in labour pain delivers a baby in the Delhi police PCR in the intervening night of July 24 and 25. The PCR receive a call near Shiv Mandir, Kapashera, Delhi and without wasting time, the PCR staff took the pregnant lady into the PCR MPV and rushed to hospital along with her sister.

On the way to the hospital, the lady gave birth to a baby girl inside the PCR MPV.

The PCR staff handled the situation professionally and with the utmost care. The mother and child were shifted to the Safdarjung hospital

safely.

In a similar case, on 24 July at 9:47 am, PCR staff was entrusted with a call regarding the requirement of immediate medical assistance to a pregnant lady at Harijan Basti, Ashram Road, Delhi.

The PCR staff immediately rushed to the spot and met caller, who told that a pregnant lady needs immediate medical aid as she was in labour pain and the ambulance was not responsive to his call.

The PCR staff without wasting time-shifted the pregnant lady to the hospital safely.

On July 25 at 12:38 am, the PCR staff received a call regarding missing of a senior citizen aged about 80 years PCR staff swung into action and met the caller.

After collecting all relevant information in respect of the missing person, the PCR staff started intensive searches in the surrounding areas. Finally, the senior citizen was traced near a Shop in Begumpur, Delhi.

The rescued senior citizen was handed over to local police of Prem Nagar safely.
