Woman arrested for murdering her in-laws

Gurugram: Embroiled in the legal case of getting a share in the property, a woman in connivance with her domestic help was arrested by the Sohna police on Sunday for killing her in-laws.
The ghastly incident took place last Thursday.
After the killings, the culprit tried to burn the body and then dump them in areas of Rajasthan and Mewat.
The murderers have been identified as Geeta (33) and Vikas (24). Married into Tomar family for last two years, Geeta had recently lost her husband six months ago for the suspected reasons of excessive drug abuse.
Being a young widow and mother of a daughter, she wanted a share in the Rs18 crore shares in the property which was not acceptable to the family.
Enraged over the entire incident, she along with Vikas strangulated her father-in-law Satpal, 65, a retired army official along with his wife Pushpa, 60 and their second son Pankaj, 38. In order to destroy the evidence, the due then tried to burn the body and then dump the bodies.
heir plan was, however, by the Rajasthan and the Sohna police after the car which Geeta had borrowed from the neighbour was caught in the CCTV cameras. Upon inspection, the blood samples were also recovered from the vehicle.
Both Geeta and Vikas have been charged under under Sections of 302 (murder) and 201 (disappearance of evidence) of Indian Penal Code.
The police also suspect the hand of Geeta's brother Samardeep Chauhan in the murder case.
