Woman accused of stealing, strip-searched in public

NEW DELHI: A mob in a majority of women on Wednesday evening allegedly thrashed and strip-searched a woman accused of stealing busy market in Swaroop Nagar area in North Delhi. Police had received a PCR call regarding a theft of gold chain by a woman. The police teams reached the spot and pacified the mob who had caught hold of the woman accused of stealing. The woman was admitted to a hospital. Some local women accused that the woman had allegedly stolen gold chains from two women after hypnotizing them.

The incident was reported when two of the women living in Nathu Pura locality noticed that their gold chain has gone missing from their neck. Mpost
